ABOUT THE WEBMASTER & WEBSITE
Hi everyone, this is Gladiator. I’m from Sichuan, China and now pursuing Ph.D. degree of Organic Chemistry in University of Southern California in USA. I love reading historical books and novels in my sparle time away from lifeless glassware. I love the art of pictures more than writing. My ideal life is to make friends with people with similar hobbies all over the world.
The basic idea of all the works of the website can be described as: by using Adobe Photoshop, pictures were synthesized starting from oringinal photos of models, backgrounds and special effects like fire and smoke . A series of pictures can make up a scene or even a story. Works like these have rarely been done so far, if any.
I wish this website could make more friends familiar with the history and enjoy, or even make by themselves pictures of beauty. At the same time, the website is dedicated to the ones who lost their families, homelands or precious lives in the wars. You can contact me at modelsstorymaster@gmail.com
This site was formally launched on Dec. 1st, 2008. |

I'm An Chu, my other interests besides modelling include pets, movies and music. My elder brother was a navy officer; He told me a lot of stories about navy life, that maybe the first ship subject attracted me.The very best thing about ship modeling is the Encouragement from every friend who likes models.I have won some modeling awards, but for me modeling is not for awards. My modeling secret is always make yourself happy! |

Anthony Kochevar, who comes from Utah in USA, is highly skilled in building warship models, especially IJN ships. Some of his works like the IJN carrier Ryojo and Unryu are models rarely seen in general modellers and are being used in stories here. |
I've modeled ships as a teen and started the hobby again in 2005. For some reason I got into the history of the Imperial Japanese Navy of WWII at this time and started building ships of this navy. I also like N Scale model railroading, reef aquariums(the Yellow Tang photo!) and a few video games. A lot of other modelers on modelsstory.com have been an inspiration to me and have helped me become a better ship modeler by displaying their work. |
Bill Cronk, whose models have been used as the first roles in several stories here, has the special modelling interest on aircrafts. His model works over the years have won lots of big prizes in different model shows in USA. |
I have been building models for about 25yrs. I like all scales and countries. I mostly build WW2 Japanese and Pacific theater stuff. I really like to add as much detail as I can get into my models and spend many hours researching and reading. I always try to keep modeling fun and enjoyable. |

Christopher Mentzel, who comes from Cologne in Germany, focuses on his modelling interest on battleships. His ship models, especially USA carriers, have become backbones on this website. In addtion, he is a SUPER NICE guy! |
My name ist Christoph Mentzel. I'm now 40 years old. I live in germany near Aachen/Cologne only a few miles from the dutch boarder.I'm married and have one son.Unfortunatley he has not the same interrest in modelling like his father:-) Since i was a child kits have always fascinated me. I believe i was 10 years as i have build my very first kit. A Hawker Hunter plane from Airfix followed by a german destroyer "Mölders" also from Airfix. I was always interrested in naval history and the history of WWII. Over the years i have build so many kits but as i was 20 years old most of the old kits was gone and only the ships, most of them Airfix and Revell kits, belongs to my current collection at that time as i stopped my hobby.
After several years without building a kit i started again in the early/mid 90's. Now i build only ships and only waterline.About the years i have build over 100 kits of all navys. |

Lars Mosbaek, who comes from Denmark, has a special modelling interest on battleships of Imperial Japanese Navy. Right now he is modelling for his ambition to resurrect the whole IJN Combined Fleet! |
I'm a keen collector of model warships of the Imperial Japanese Navy in scale 1/700
My interest in navy ships came early, as my hometown here in Denmark had many visits of naval ships through my childhood. I stood ready on the quay to welcome the ships, and be ready of "open ship". The ships of IJN has always been for me the most fascinating subject of the WWII. |

Omami, who comes from Osaka in Japan, was known by the modellers over the world as "God of Japanese Carrier Models". He doesn't have too many works, but each of them took years to finish! His contribution by his excellent carriers models has made many stories here become possible. |
Hello, I am Omami a Japanese middle age modeler. I live in Osaka that is second largest city in Japan.
I especially like ship model and car model. I show my works in my website "J-Model Works". Through a model, you can have a good relationship with me.
The photo is a stuffed toy of the Sergeant Keroro. It is Japanese popular comics and cartoon. He is an invader from the space. However, he is the funny character that is crazy about plastic model. :) His cap is an imitation of Imperial Japanese soldier's military cap. |

Tony Feredo, who comes from Philippine, has done sufficient study on the history especially Pacific War. Every model work of him were built up with accurate details to be consistant with the real object, together with the people and events with it, in the history. |
Tony Feredo from the Philippines and I have been building scale models since I was seven years old. At the age of 14, I took a "sabbatical leave" from the hobby to pursue other interests. In 1991, after a seven year hiatus, I went back and have been building ever since. I build mostly WWII aircraft in 1/48 scale but in some moments I occasionaly build a few jets and armour models. The subjects that I mostly model are Pacific WWII aircraft with alot of emphasis on Japanese and US aircraft that were based or flew over the Philippines during the War. My other interest are military hardware that was used in the Philippines during WWII and one of my expertise is coast artillery on the Harbor Defenses of Manila and Subic Bays. |
Warren Dickerson, who comes from Florida in USA, focusing on aircraft models. His works have won many prizes in different model shows. |
I started model building as a kid. Most of my models were 1/72 scale aircraft as that was all I could afford at the local hobby shop on my allowance. I continued model building until I was 16 when I discovered computers and modeling fell by the wayside. I tried to get started again several times but the three requirements were never in the same place at the same time. I needed time, cash and a space to build. It wasn't until I was married and my two step kids moved out of the house that I had the three requirements to build models, besides my wife was pushing for me to get a hobby that would get me out of her hair. So in summer of 2007 I picked the hobby back up. I am fortunate now to have plenty of time to work on my hobby and am enjoying returning to my childhood again. |
